What is UPF?

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It’s the rating system used to rate apparel and the ability of the fabric to block UV rays. It differs from SPF in that it is not applied directly to the skin. Common sunscreens (SPFs) only block UVA rays, but apparel and accessories with UPF offer full spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

Accessories:

Keep cool and stay hydrated. Drinking water helps lower your body temperature and replace fluid lost through sweating (or shimmering). S’well Water bottles keep drinks cold for up to 2 days and provide an easy on the eyes way to stay hydrated!

Think outside (the box) this summer with these Neck Cooling Tubes by Cool Time. After just 20 minutes in the freezer, these neck tubes can hold a temperature of 18-degrees Celsius. Made of innovative material originally created for NASA this keep-cool concept is out of this world!

Add sun protection in seconds with Coolibar’s Women’s Performance Sleeves. Avoid the mess of sunscreen with these breathable sleeves that offer UPF 50+ protection and can be worn and removed throughout the day. A must for your fitstylish wardrobe!

Sunglasses are the ultimate summer accessory and key in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. The Warby Parker Nancy Sunglasses have total UV protection and are available in both prescription and nonprescription
