Let's explore Yale and Downtown New Haven in 5,000 steps! See the city and find time for exercise with this moderately paced walk. You'll be guided by me, Shana, a Yale alumna and New Haven resident.

I'll take you along a few paths and walkways that you may not have seen before and share some fun insider tips. We'll keep our pace to about a 20-minute mile and cover about 2-miles.

We'll be staying on sidewalks, but there may be one "surprising" hill along the way. Otherwise, it'll mostly be a flat route.

This walk is FREE to the Yale Graduate student community, including Yale graduate students, post-docs, and their family members. (Must be 18 years or older to attend.)

Space is limited and registration is REQUIRED.

Sponsored by The McDougal Center for Graduate Student Life.
